Dr. Natasha Liaw O.D.
Co-Founder | Optometrist
Dr. Natasha Liaw O.D. was born and raised in Edmonton, AB, where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Psychology. She then pursued her Doctorate of Optometry at Salus University (Pennsylvania College of Optometry) in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Liaw’s passion for optometry is deeply personal. Having worn glasses since the age of 6, she understands firsthand the challenges and experiences of those with vision needs, particularly growing up in the 90s when glasses were less fashionable. This personal experience, combined with her observations of patients being misled into unnecessary purchases, inspired her to establish a clinic where trust and transparency are paramount.
At Wink Optometry, Dr. Liaw is committed to providing clear, honest advice and ensuring that patients receive the best care tailored to their needs and budget. Her goal is to foster a trusting relationship between her patients and the clinic.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Liaw recently welcomed her son, Nigel, into her family. She enjoys spending time with him and pursuing her interests in aerial arts, including hammock and hoop.

Dr. Natasha Lam
Optometrist
Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Dr. Natasha Lam’s passion for optometry began at a young age when she began myopia control through the use of orthokeratology lenses. These nighttime contact lenses allowed her to see clearly during the day, which was life-changing as an athlete who competed for Karate Canada. This allowed her to be glasses free and focus solely on training and the competition at hand. Due to not only the large impact of contact lenses in sport but also in daily life, Natasha has a particular interest in contact lenses and myopia control.
Natasha completed her foundational undergraduate coursework at the University of British Columbia (UBC) before completing her Doctorate of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in Boston, Massachusetts. During her time at NECO she gained a variety of experiences from community health centers, Veterans Affairs Medical Center (ocular disease), to specialty contact lenses. Natasha provides inclusive, top-tier care for patients of all ages, from toddlers to seniors. She prioritizes comprehensive patient care, patient education, and proactive and preventative care, ensuring a comfortable and friendly experience for everyone.
When she is not in the clinic, Natasha stays true to her athletic roots. You can find her hiking, playing tennis, or hitting the local slopes skiing. She is an avid sports fan who loves watching Formula 1 racing, hockey, and ultimate. When it is time to unwind indoors, she enjoys channeling her focus into tackling her next big Lego project.
